Photos from this year's donations to pediatric cancer patients at Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital at
Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.

Thanks to BSHCA members and everyone who donated or helped out in any way!

For 20+ years, members of the Happy Hookers of the Berkeley Shores Homeowners' Civic Association have been donating the fruits of their labors throughout Ocean, Monmouth and Middlesex counties. They have knitted and crocheted hundreds of items - from lap robes and sweaters to dolls and teddy bears - and donated them to organizations such as Project Linus and Children's Specialized Hospital in Toms River and to the Crystal Lake, Tallwoods and Bayville Manor rehabilitation and nursing facilities in their hometown. They have also collected toys and games for children with cancer who are spending the holidays in the hospital.

Once again, they are asking for donations of new, unwrapped toys for delivery to pediatric cancer patients at Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. The children enjoy these gifts more than you can imagine! Not sure what to donate? - click here for a list of ideas.

They'll be collecting these donations through December 1, 2014. If you care to donate, contact Cathy Peach at: 732-237-0901. If you prefer, monetary donations for this important event can be mailed to "Happy Hookers" c/o Berkeley Shores Homeowners' Civic Association, P.O. Box 134, Bayville, NJ 08721. (and please put Happy Hookers in the memo).

Please also keep in mind that the Happy Hookers work on handmade items all year and can ALWAYS use donations of yarn, "hotel sized" shampoo, moisturizer and the like (for gifts created for nursing home residents) or monetary donations.

The Happy Hookers are STILL COLLECTING items for
members of the armed forces overseas.
