Join us on Saturday, May 25th either on Amherst Beach or in the Amherst Inlet for the Blessing of the Fleet and Memorial Day Commemoration. This is our Annual Thank You to those who are members of our armed forces and those who gave their lives so we can live free.

The boats will gather at 10:30 AM in the basin before the main inlet and the parade begins around 10:45 AM. Clergy from a local church will bless your boat for a healthy, safe, and epic boating/fishing season. Decorate and show off your boat! Click here for a map to show the parade route. The Memorial Day Commemoration will be on the beach. Please have your VHF tuned to channel 69. The Commemoration will promptly begin after the parade.

We are hosting a pizza get-together on the beach at 6 PM that evening. BSCA will supply 2 slices per person and if we have extra you’re welcome to more. Bring your own drinks and beach chairs. Please remember, this is an event for members only.

Keep your fingers crossed for nice weather on May 25th! In case of rain, we will hold the event in the Berkeley Rec Center without the boat parade. We will send out an email if anything changes due to the weather.
